Here Comes the Sun – NW Flower and Garden Show 2024
This 648 SF garden was our first foray into designing and building for the NW Flower and Garden Show and highlighted our carpentry, hardscape, irrigation and plant skills.
A rustic and whimsical shed utilizing salvaged materials proves just the right size for a playhouse or writers retreat. A break in a Spring shower allows the sun to shine through as the rain drips from the roof down to the reflecting pool below. Notice the sunburst theme reflected in the radial patterns of the shed, boardwalk, lower deck and sitting bench. A heavy flagstone path and stairway balance against intricately woven steel walls. Split firewood and the skins of tree trunks hold back lush multi-layered plantings in beds and pots. All this blended with artful touches of statuary and birdhouses showcase the bounty that Spring provides.
